The new and compact rescueMe PLB3 from Ocean Signal is the world's first PLB with AIS, RLS and AIS. The PLB3 is an important safety product for you and your boat. A crew should never set sail without a PLB3.
The rescueME PLB3 has an integrated 72-channel GPS receiver for receiving GPS, Galileo and Glonass. The rescueME PLB3 also has a homing signal on 121.5 kHz, which is used by the rescue services on site for homing. The extremely bright LED flash light (white and infrared) also ensures that you are clearly visible at night.
With the new AIS transmitter, you are always clearly visible to ships in your vicinity. With the new Return Link Service (RLS), you also receive visual feedback that your distress call has been received
To ensure maximum chance of survival, the rescueME PLB3 offers four ways of transmitting or recognising your location in an emergency:

Another new feature is the integration of NFC (Near Field Communication). This allows you to check all PLB functions (GPS test, self-test, maintenance intervals, PLB performance, etc.) using an NFC-compatible smartphone and the free app.
