The makers from Switzerland have succeeded in creating an extremely rigid iSUP. Nothing bends. The exemplary workmanship of the little chubby board (280 cm with oversized rails and 260 litre volume) supports any weight.
But its strength is also its weakness. The outline is highly unsportsmanlike, it doesn't give you that surfing feeling. It also lacks directional stability (which is why Airboard offers the same board with a single fin). Well, the name also reveals the intended use: travel rental. It's great for travelling and works well as a rental board for your first SUP.
In general, it is a tip as a whitewater beginner board and river hiking board. It forgives every load error and is not sensitive to top water. For experts, the Airboard is too sluggish, only in choppy water will you be happy with its extreme stability.
