Axis Black Advanced Fuselage - more manoeuvrability for experts
The Axis Black Advanced Fuselage is designed to give experienced wingfoilers more manoeuvrability and agility for the wave.

The length of the fuselage is decisive for the directional stability and manoeuvrability of a foil. Generally speaking, the shorter the fuselage, the more agile and easy to turn the system will be. However, short fuselages are also more difficult to control and should therefore be used with caution by beginners and intermediates.

Axis is now launching the Black Advanced Fuselage, which is compatible with all ART and HPS front wings as well as the small wings of the BSC line compatible ( HERE there's a test of the Axis HPS 980 Foil). With this new fuselage design, the mast position has been moved 40 mm closer to the front wing, which should open up completely new possibilities for surfing performance, i.e. manoeuvrability. Axis recommends choosing a shorter overall length when switching to the Black Advanced fuselage:

The Black Advanced Fuselage is not intended to replace the standard fuselage, but to complement it for wingfoilers with a little practice who want to optimise their foil for wave riding and turns.

However, those new to wings should also bear in mind that this upgrade for the shaft also comes at the expense of directional stability and flight stability. The Advanced Fuselage is available in several lengths:

  • 64 cm ("Ultrashort"/369 Euro)
  • 60 cm ("Crazyshort"/345 Euro)
  • 56 cm ("Sillyshort"/ 325 Euro)

Further information is also available HERE on the manufacturer's website.
