Titouan Galea is one of the most successful wingfoilers of the first generation. After seven years and three world championship titles, Galea is now parting ways with his main sponsor F-one.

Hardly any other wingsurfer has changed the still young sport as much as Titouan Galea from New Caledonia. In 2021, he was the dominant rider in the field on the GWA Wingfoil World Tour and won the world titles in the individual surf race and surf freestyle disciplines. In 2022, the world's top riders then moved closer together, with riders like Gollito Estredo and Malo Guenolé rapidly catching up. In the end, Galea lost his world championship crown in surf freestyle, but was able to defend his title in the surf race.

Galea has now announced on Instagram that he is parting ways with his longstanding main sponsor F-one. F-one had supported Galea for more than seven years.

To say goodbye, Titouan puts out another highlight clip with great action. It also features the double back flip that Galea managed to pull off during a training session on Maui in 2021 and which he can exclusively claim as his own.

It remains to be seen which wings and boards Galea will use for the 2023 title defence. We are curious.
