The GunSails Hy-Wing has received a comprehensive update to its construction and handle system. You can find out what effects this will have here.

The Hy-Wing from GunSails is designed to appeal to a large wingsurfing target group as an affordable all-rounder. Our TEST test confirmed that the predecessor model had a wide range of use, but also revealed very soft basic characteristics and weaknesses in the form of a very indirect handle system. The manufacturer GunSails now wants to have tweaked the Hy-Wing V2 in precisely these areas.

The front tube of the wing has been designed to be significantly stiffer thanks to the use of a thicker material. Instead of the thin and indirect handles that we criticised, the GunSails Hy-Wing V2 should now also have significantly stiffer handles.

The basic structure of the Hy-Wing is said to have been stiffened.

The Hy-Wing V2 range has also been extended to include a 3 square metre size, making the new model available in sizes 3/4/5 and 6 square metres for 699 to 859 euros. In addition to the leash and rucksack, the scope of delivery also includes a pump and a repair kit.
