Surprisingly, the stabilisers don't interfere with paddling at all, but make the board (11'6'' x 33'') impossible to tip over. And the most amazing thing - with one foot behind the crossbar, you are still bombproof on the one hand and yet you can turn the board on the spot faster than anyone else. In choppy water, the stabilisers provide maximum stability, making even offshore tours a safe affair. Even with both feet very close to an edge, we (weighing 80kg) were only able to tilt the board slightly to one side. The Fisher is extremely solidly made, quite wide, rather heavy and therefore not a sprint wonder, but despite being "only" 4.75 inches thick, it is very stiff.

Oh yes, the classic rod holder (anglers know what it's all about) is of course available on the deck, but the fishing licence is not included.
