The last day of September was a golden one at the Baltic spot of Kegnaes. 30 knots of wind, sun and waves attracted numerous windsurfers to the water.

Night-time temperatures in the single digits, shorter days - autumn is coming in leaps and bounds. The fact that this doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing was demonstrated on the last day of September at the Baltic Sea resort of Kegnaes (Here you can find a spot guide) convince. Strong winds from the east-southeast, waves up to head-high and glistening autumn light made for a fantastic day of surfing. It wasn't actually supposed to really blow through until the afternoon, but contrary to the forecast, sails between 3.7 and 4.2 square metres were already rigged in the morning. While it was still blowing diagonally onshore at the beginning, the wind later shifted slightly back towards the sideshore - which was perfect for shooting into the air over one of the numerous ramps.

You can get an impression of the conditions in the early afternoon in the photo gallery at the beginning of the article.
