Travel tips: Where to go in summer 2021Photo: Veranstalter
For many years, the Flisvos station has been the centre of attraction for surfers on Naxos.
Nobody knows what summer holidays will look like in 2021. But travelling in Europe seems conceivable. Here are some tips from the surf holiday specialists at Sun and Fun Sportreisen.

GREECE: NAXOS/ST. GEORGE

Demand for Naxos is high every year and many regular guests book their accommodation a year in advance. The coronavirus measures in Greece worked particularly well in summer 2020, so we can be very optimistic for 2021. The unique atmosphere of the very tasteful and modern accommodation, the professional centre and the associated Flisvos Beach Café make a holiday on Naxos unforgettable. The centre offers guests windsurfing, foiling, wingsurfing, catamaran sailing, kitesurfing (in Mikri Vigla, about 20 minutes away by car) and mountain biking. For guests of Sun and Fun Sportreisen who have booked a sports service, there are some additional services free of charge.

GREECE: RHODES/THEOLOGOS

Some guests had a few reservations before leaving for Rhodes this coronavirus summer and were then rewarded for their holiday decision when they arrived! Our guests were able to experience great wind conditions, a relaxed atmosphere and sunny days in Theologos. The LOGOS Beach Village with its tasteful tented lodges and studios, private pool and beach restaurant offers plenty of space. The extensive complex covers 10,000 square metres and the surf station is around 300 metres along the beach. The centre also offers top mountain bikes, as the surrounding area is ideal for bike tours. Word has got around about this great holiday spot, which is why demand is already high for 2021. Guests of LOGOS Beach Village receive a five per cent discount on sports services (excluding events and specials) and some free additional services, such as 1 x per person BBQ on the beach when booking in advance via Sun and Fun.

ITALY: PORTO POLLO/IL BORGO (SARDINIA)

Sardinia is a particularly beautiful spot with flexible travel options (by plane or car/ferry). Many regular guests appreciate the reliable wind, the professional MB Pro Centre run by Michiel Bouwmeester and the diversity of the island. The Il Borgo residence with a total of 100 flats offers a carefree and uncomplicated self-catering holiday or you can enjoy good Italian food in one of the nearby restaurants.
