Rubish is always in contact with water. He runs a car wash. His work has top priority. But when the Maestrale sails through the leaves of the olive trees like an oversized comb, windsurfing becomes the most important thing in the world for Rubish. He tests sails for his friend and sailmaker Claudio. He knows all the secluded spots around Ancona and knows exactly where to take me. Claudio usually gives an additional tip. Claudio Badiali has been tinkering with unusual sail designs (Challenger Sails) for sailing boats and windsurfers for more than 28 years. He rarely finds time to travel to the beaches of his home region of le Marche (Marche). But Rubish takes on this task for him almost every day. He has known the sailmaker since 1983 - a friendship as deep as the blue Adriatic.

You can find these spots in the free PDF download: Marotta, Senigallia, La Rotonda, Marina di Montemarciano, Portonovo, Sassi Neri/Spiaggia St. Michele, Numana (Numana Beach)/Marcelli, Porto Potenza Picena
