THE TOOL

- Adhesive and hardener With epoxy resin, it is important that it is waterproof and that the curing time is not too short when working with several coats. Caution: Cheap epoxy gets hot quickly and is not waterproof. Tip: Mix the epoxy in as shallow a container as possible and dose the mixing ratio precisely, for example with two disposable syringes from the pharmacy).

- Orbital sander Ideally, an orbital sander should be used for sanding.

- Sandpaper But you can also use sandpaper and a wooden block. It is best to use 60 grit sandpaper for roughening. Use fine sandpaper or wet sandpaper for the finish.

- Glass fibres Depending on the depth of the holes, several coats are required - from small to full coverage. Brush A classic flat paintbrush is sufficient.

- Drill and screw Select a drill bit with a small diameter and a screw that corresponds to the drill diameter.

1. lift the pressed-in surface: Drill a hole in the dented surface with a drill and carefully pull it upwards (large photo above). The area must be absolutely dry before the repair (always place it in the sun). Then sand roughly with a sanding drill.
