Around 60 participants from Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Bavaria, Berlin and Switzerland gathered at the canoe club on Saturday. Among others, three-time German champion Normen Weber and 2018 runner-up Peter Weidert took part. The conditions for the championship were perfect, as the lake was calm with an ideal water level and the weather also cooperated. First Chairman Jürgen Schneider welcomed the participants and wished them every success for the upcoming races. The races were held on a triangular course in front of the canoe club grounds and started from land, except for the sprints. The first races in the FUN Class over 4km started at 10.30am. This was an open race, so anyone interested in SUP could take part. This was followed by the KIDS Race over 2.5 kilometres. Children aged 8-11 years started here. This was followed by the Long Distance Race over 8 km, in which Norman Weber and Peter Weidert once again won titles. The final race was the Sprint Race over 200 metres. Thanks to the many sponsors, supporters and exhibitors, the championship was a successful event at Untersee.
