With an impressive time of 46:40, Skadi Langbein of WPH Berlin secured a commanding victory ahead of Vivien Franke (52:27) of Wassersportfreunde Spandau 04 in the 160-metre parallel sprint.

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) may sound like a leisure activity, but at a competitive level it is a highly demanding sport. In the finals, a sprint is held using a system of heats, semi-finals and finals to determine the best athletes for the final. The race covers a distance of 160 metres. Only two athletes start in each race (head-to-head). The first to cross the finish line wins.
