One thing you can rely on at boot: there is no shortage of high-calibre guests. The 2024 edition from 20 to 28 January will once again bring together the cracks of the surfing world, whether windsurfers, wingers, paddlers, skimboarders or pumpboarders. The absolute star of the scene and 42-time windsurfing world champion Bjørn Dunkerbeck will not only be there to sign autographs, but will also be presenting the film "Born to Windsurf" about his life and career at the trade fair on Thursday (25 January 2024) from 6 pm.
Of course, Waterman Balz Müller will also be there in Düsseldorf. As a windsurfer, wingfoiler and pumpfoiler, he combines a large part of the sports in Hall 17 in one person. He will certainly be found at the stands of his partners Ensis and Severne just as often as in the large action pool. Philip Köster has also announced his intention to return to action in 2024 after his injury break, and Lina Erpenstein will be interviewed via video link at boot. Sebastian Kördel and Theresa Steinlein will also report on their Olympic preparations on the iQFoil in a live broadcast.
Xavi Corr, Michael Näf and Laura Rudolph, among others, have confirmed their attendance from the wing sector, while Ole Schwarz, Carsten Kurmis, Kimo Kersting and others from the SUP sector are planning to be there. Shaper Andi Widman from Wark Boards is also on the guest list.
