boot Düsseldorf will once again offer plenty of action in 2026. From 17 to 25 January, numerous top athletes will meet in Surfsport Hall 17 to demonstrate their skills in six different contests on the XXL pool. Messe Düsseldorf is organising several top-class competitions together with various event organisers, including the GWA Indoor Wingfoil World Cup, the SFT Surf Foil World Tour and the EuroTour SUP Indoor World Cup. For spectators, the programme promises spectacular action and world-class sport right on the Rhine.
The GWA Indoor Wingfoil World Cup is one of the highlights of boot 2026, with Riccardo Zorzi, Ancor Sosa and Jeremy Rodriguez, some of the best wingfoilers in the world, on the list of participants. Crowd favourite Balz Müller will also be at the start. Nia Suardiaz, Viola Lippitsch, Orane Ceris and Manon Dupe will be competing in the women's event. The wingfoil scene has experienced an enormous upswing in recent years, and the indoor conditions in Düsseldorf offer perfect conditions for controlled and comparable competition.
The SFT Surf Foil World Tour is also bringing world-class athletes to Düsseldorf. Among them are Edan Fiander, Rob von Roll, Juri Scheibler and Axel Pham. Balz Müller will also be at the start. Lena Oberperfler, Viola Lippitsch, Sarah Spalinger, Marnie Bertram, Katrin Kolo and Bowien van der Linden are expected to compete in the women's event. The foil disciplines have developed rapidly in recent years, with the SFT celebrated its world premiere a year ago in Düsseldorf!
The European Skimboard Masters is all about precision and style on flat water. Jesse van Stavoren, Natalia Fernec, Tino Wienen and Nick Dewenter are some of the best European skimboarders at the start. Semjon Szillat, Lydia Blanke and Isabelle Remberg will also be showing off their skills. The international field of participants will be completed by athletes such as Augustus Huvavs, Mike Vigt de Haag, Thigs Medena and Oliwier Lukaszczyk.
The FPT Indoor Tow-In Freestyle Competition brings the elite of windsurfing freestyle to Düsseldorf. Bodhi Kempen, Foivos Tsoupras, Lennart Neubauer and Niclas Nebelung are some of the best freestylers in the world. Elena Dominick, Lisa Kloster, Maaike Huvermann and Živa Batis will be competing in the women's event - a perfect show for the spectators in Hall 17.
In addition to the active freestylers, other big stars have also announced their attendance: Björn Dunkerbeck will be there on the first weekend of the fair, and Philip Köster will also be coming to Düsseldorf! Of course, surf Magazin is also part of boot, you can find us at stand D36 in hall 17! On both weekends, a member of the editorial team will be available to answer all your questions!
The Pooltastic Wakeboard Masters brings the wakeboarding elite to Düsseldorf. With Gavin Stuckey, Jan-Luca Schulz, Tobias Färbers and Carlo Hüsing, some of the best wakeboarders will be at the start. Claudia Pagnini, Theresa Karl, Joelina Gerards, Anne Freyer and Nike Hauser are expected to compete in the women's event. Wakeboarding combines elements of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing and thrills with spectacular jumps and tricks. The indoor pools at boot Düsseldorf offer ideal conditions for the athletes to show off their skills.
The EuroTour SUP Indoor World Cup will bring the largest number of participants of all competitions to Düsseldorf. With over 80 registered athletes from numerous nations, this contest will be a real highlight of boot 2026. International stars such as Alba Frey, Amelia Moral, Andreas Kiousis, Brianna Orams, Campbell Carter, David Leao and many more will be paddling for victory. Numerous up-and-coming athletes such as Junior Scherbaum, Junior van der Sar and Neo Linus Knorr will also be at the start.
The admission prices for boot Düsseldorf remain stable. The most favourable rate for enjoying the trade fair to the full is the ticket for www.boot.club members (free membership and visit to the boot.club lounges in Halls 7 and 13 with free WLAN included): It costs just €19.00 for two days of trade fair experience. Children under the age of 13 continue to visit boot Düsseldorf free of charge, older teenagers pay €14.00. The regular prices are €21 for adults and €14 for children and other visitors with discounts! Tickets can be paid for using the usual payment methods and, from this year, also with other online services such as Apple and Google Pay!
For visitors travelling with their camper, there will once again be a surf festival camp on the exhibition grounds. One night with a camper in the car park costs €25. Not only are you right in the centre of the action, but you also have access to washrooms, electricity and water. Free shuttle buses run between P1 and the exhibition centre and take you back and forth in comfort. Catering at fair prices awaits you in the festival tent from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. - perfect for starting the day or enjoying a sundowner with friends. At the weekends, you can get going with the wake-up warm-up from Sascha Lange Personal Training from 8.30 to 9 a.m. - good mood and energy guaranteed!
