boot Düsseldorf will bring even more action to the XXL pool in Hall 17 from 18 to 25 January 2025. In addition to the EFPT Freestyle Tow-In, some of the best SUP racers in the world will also be competing in the EuroTour SUP Indoor World Cup on the second weekend of the trade fair (25/26 January).
Also taking part is 18-year-old Shuri Araki from Japan, who became the youngest world champion in his division in 2023 and also remained unbeaten in 2024. In addition, Christian Andersen from Cold Hawaii, who was among the front runners in the Red Bull Heavy Water, is also taking part.
And long-distance specialist Paolo Marconi from Italy also wants to prove his skills on the XXL pool in Düsseldorf. In races such as "Last Paddler Standing", he has managed to prove not only his physical but also his mental strength over 48 hours. He is also involved as a coach to make it easier for beginners to get into the sport.
Strong SUP ladies from Cuba, Argentina and Spain
The female SUP stars will also be in Düsseldorf. Mariecarmen Rivera comes from Cuba and has celebrated successes at the Pan-American Games and other international competitions. Juliette Duhaime from Argentina will also be there. She has dominated both sprint and distance races at events such as the Busan SUP Open and is one of the strongest and most versatile paddlers in international women's SUP sport. Spain's Alba Alonso has shown her versatility time and time again with numerous top placings in the long distance, technical and sprint categories, while her compatriot Susak Molinero is also one of the most important riders on the European and global SUP scene.
On the first weekend of boot Düsseldorf 2025 (18/19 January), the GWA Indoor Wingfoil World Cup and a stop on the SFT Surf Foil World Tour will take place on the pool in Hall 17!
