Everything is fresh in surf hall 17 at boot. In 2025, the outfit and above all the concept are completely new. Among other things, the Freestyle Pro Tour will be making a guest appearance on the large water pool with an official tow-in contest with 15,000 euros in prize money. Professional wingfoilers and SUPers will also be competing on the pool.

The boot Düsseldorf trade fair is getting even sportier. There will be plenty of action, especially in Surf Hall 17 from 18 to 26 January 2025. Windsurfers, wingers, foilers, stand-up paddlers and wakeboarders will be busting their moves on the water basin. The trade fair invites the best professionals to the contests, regardless of the brand sponsoring them, and with prize money of 15,000 euros for the tow-in windsurfers, the best freestylers in the world are sure to accept the invitation. New grandstands will be erected at the water basin so that you can be there up close.

Container look, parties and surf festival camp

There will also be many other new features in Hall 17, with a much more modern look for the hall and the stands and a fitting celebration of the athletes in the hall. "With its new design, Hall 17 is setting the ultimate trend. The minimalist, technical look, combined with a new lighting concept, gives the boards and surf equipment significantly more attention," writes the agency Hoeppner Sportkommunikation. "The design is industrial, monochrome, metallic and picks up on the design language of sea containers. This creates a cool club atmosphere in which surf fans can celebrate together."

That's why Hall 17 will be open until 8 pm, and on the first Saturday of the fair and on the Friday and Saturday of the second weekend (18, 24 and 25 January) even until 10 pm, so we can relax and enjoy a cold drink together. You'll find our surf stand right at the entrance to Hall 16, and if you want to continue partying afterwards, the Surf Festival Camp (in cooperation with the Fehmarn Surf Festival) in the Messe Düsseldorf Caravan Centre north of the exhibition grounds is the place to be. DJs will be playing in the specially erected surf festival tent on both weekends, and in the morning after the festival, personal trainer Sascha Lange will ensure clear heads and fit bodies with his wake-up warm-up, just like at the surf festival on Fehmarn. The pitches with camping infrastructure cost just 25 euros per night at boot. The admission price for two consecutive days at the fair is only 19 euros if you register for free at boot.club.
