A new offer from Tchibo could be of interest to anyone planning a van conversion: the company is now offering a modular van conversion system in its online shop in cooperation with the Austrian specialist Mavis. The flexible concept starts at an entry-level price of 15,900 euros, writes the provider in a press release.
The heart of the Mavis system is therefore a robust aluminium frame, which is mounted as a basic system on the ceiling, walls and floor. Based on this, customers can customise their interior design modularly and according to their personal preferences. Various room concepts can be realised, from outdoor showers to extra-large kitchen units. The focus is particularly on solutions for mobile working, so-called "workation". Flexible seating and working options as well as a sophisticated power supply and networking are designed to enable location-independent working.

As a special highlight, Tchibo is presenting an exclusive "Rick Edition", which was developed in collaboration with former professional cyclist Rick Zabel. The son of cycling legend Erik Zabel is a partner in the MAVIS team and contributes his experience as a professional athlete, podcaster and content creator. The "Rick Edition" is designed for functionality and a sense of adventure and includes a roof rack, modular wall cabinets, a pull-out fridge and a flexible bed system. With a price of 34,990 euros, this variant is more in the premium segment, but could also offer interesting approaches for water sports enthusiasts.
According to Tchibo, sustainability is particularly important in its cooperation with Mavis. The modules used are made from durable, repairable and reusable materials. Local production shortens transport routes and reduces the carbon footprint. Another plus point: each module can later be reused in new vehicles, which is in line with a sustainable transport and tourism concept.
