The European SUP League (ESL) has published its official race calendar for the 2026 season. With seven stops in seven different countries, the league presents a balanced programme that has been organised into three mini-circuits to make it easier for athletes to plan their season.

The European SUP League (ESL) has announced its competition calendar for the 2026 season at an early stage. The organisers have taken particular care to avoid clashing dates with other important European SUP events. A total of seven stages in seven different countries are on the programme, running from April to September. The new format has been specially developed to allow athletes to take part in several events without major logistical challenges.

New format with three mini-circuits

The organisers have divided the calendar into three mini-circuits in order to optimise travel planning for the athletes. The first circuit starts at the end of April in Spain and also includes the Italian stop in Taranto. In the second block, the events in France, Switzerland and Poland will follow in June. After a summer break, the league returns to Spain and Portugal for the final two stages at the beginning of September. This well thought-out structure allows participants to plan their trips more efficiently and attend several events without having to constantly travel across Europe.

With stops in Southern, Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the league covers different regions of the continent. According to the organisers, the venues have been strategically selected to include both established SUP strongholds and up-and-coming regions. The ESL emphasises that the early publication of the calendar is intended to help athletes plan their 2026 season optimally and coordinate it with other important competitions.
