The European Outdoor Film Tour 2024 can be seen in many European cities from mid-October
A raft trip into the unknown, mountain biking in the Philippines and climbing in the Sierra Nevada - the European Outdoor Film Tour will be on the road again from October with these and many other exciting adventures!

The European Outdoor Film Tour claims to be the largest outdoor film festival in Europe Since 2001, the best outdoor and adventure films have been shown every autumn and winter. The tour visits cities throughout Europe and the programme lasts around two hours. Areas include mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, paragliding, skiing, snowboarding and much more. "Only the craziest ideas and adventure trips, as well as top-class sporting action and fascinating characters make it into the film selection, guaranteeing first-class adventure entertainment year after year," promise the organisers.

The films on the European Outdoor Film Tour 2024

  • To The Sea - A raft trip through the wilderness
  • Soundscape - Blind trust in big wall climbing
  • Anna - Skateboarding in the mountains
  • Cycle Of Bayanihan - from BMX to freeride and beyond
  • Keep It Burning - Climbing the Trango Tower in Pakistan
  • Backyard - 5 descents, 3,000 vertical metres, 29 kilometres, 1 day

The Munich-based event agency Moving Adventures Medien is responsible for the content of the film tour and the organisation of the events. "Our team visits many international film festivals, most of them in North America. There we meet protagonists, filmmakers, journalists, the whole scene. But now people also approach EOFT on their own initiative. And we usually produce one film a year ourselves," says CEO Joachim Hellinger.

According to Hellinger, the films are selected based on content and artistic quality. "There has to be something extraordinary about each film: either it has a great look and style - for example, the action-packed films about snowboarding or mountain biking. Or it tells the story of a special adventure and has a fascinating protagonist. Preferably one who also shows weaknesses. Superheroes where everything goes smoothly don't exist in real life either."
