Born in Dresden presented herself as a real talent last season. After many successful years in canoe racing, Hannah only discovered SUP for herself in August 2016. Thanks to the extensive support of the Siren SUP team, she was able to attract a lot of attention in the SUP scene in 2017 and took top places at numerous SUP events.
Her highlights to date include included the 2017 European Championship title in the 12.6 Inflatable Class and participation in Team Germany at the ISA SUP World Cup in Denmark. She also confidently secured the title of German Champion 2017 on the sprint and long distance courses.
Despite a lack of experience in choppy water and waves, the young SUP paddler was able to win the championship title in the U18 class and the runner-up title behind Paulina Herpel in the women's category with willpower, strength and endurance. In 2017, she took first place in the overall standings of the German SUP League.
Hannah attends the elite school of sport in Dresden and hopes to integrate stand-up paddling into her life alongside canoe racing. She is one of the most hard-working athletes, training five to six days a week in an attempt to catch up with the SUP elite in the future. Supported by Team Infinity Germany, Hannah would also like to compete internationally in the coming season.
The start as an Infinity Speed Freak was immediately very successful at the Paris SUP Crossing 2017. The likeable athlete won first place in the Leisure Junior Womens U18 and first place in the Leisure Womens Overall Class on the new equipment.
It's okay to dream! The prize included an invitation to the famous Carolina Cup 2018 in the USA and the GlaGla Race in France. Some other important SUP events in Europe and overseas are already planned on Hannah's race calendar for 2018. She has clearly defined her goals: as a member of the Infinity Speed Freak Family, she wants to make the international connection in the next two to four years.
