The eleventh International Ocean Film Tour will be travelling to almost 180 venues from the end of February. There will be five films on the subject of the ocean.

The cinematic look beyond the horizon starts on 24 February 2025, when the 11th International Ocean Film Tour hits cinemas. A windsurfing film is - in contrast to the OFT 2024, when with Born to Windsurf a windsurfing film was also included in the programme - not at the start this time, but the programme should still be absolutely worth seeing.

In Row of Life former para-olympian Angela Madsen sets off on her big adventure, rowing solo from Los Angeles to Hawaii. The documentary Seven beats per minute portrays Jessea Lu, who has become one of the best female apnoea divers in the world in just four years. This year's tour will also focus on the environment and marine conservation. The film Nika shows the extraordinary relationship between the scientist Felipe Ravina and a trusting pilot whale off the coast of Tenerife. The documentary Kelp should be as topical as it is exciting, as the aquatic plant of the same name is seen as a potential miracle weapon in the fight against climate change. And even fans of boardsports don't have to hesitate when buying tickets this time - the film Trilogy shows three of the world's best surfers travelling to the best spots on the planet.

After the premiere on 24 February 2025 in Hamburg's Laeiszhalle, the Ocean Film Tour will be shown in numerous cinemas. Tour calendar and tickets are available HERE.
