On our own behalf: surf, SUP and wing now under one roof
Windsurfing, wingfoiling and SUP now have a common home on the net. At surf-magazin.de you can now find all sports side by side.

"Well, where did I end up here?" That's what some visitors may have asked themselves when trying to access our wingsurf.world or sup-mag.de websites. These two websites have moved closer to the surf site, and now you can find all three sports under one roof at surf-magazin.de! We now offer the largest German-language water sports portal

In this "World of Boards", each type of board has its own section, where you can find detailed tests, advice, riding techniques and much more as usual. There is also a large "Spots and areas" section with many detailed spot guides for all skill levels. On the homepage you can get an overview of the latest articles from all areas, and as usual there is also the beginners' section with the most important basics for all new windsurfers and those who want to become one.

The fact that surf, Wing and SUP belong to the same family is recognisable in many places. First and foremost, of course, in terms of personnel: deputy surf editor-in-chief Stephan Gölnitz is also "Mr SUP", Manuel Vogel probably tests just as much windsurfing and wing equipment and can give you the best tips on riding techniques and areas in both sports.

Many windsurfers are also wingers or paddlers

In many respects, the three sports have common themes: A good wetsuit is equally important for windsurfing, wingsurfing or paddling, and the development of the Baltic Sea National Park is also relevant for all water sports enthusiasts. Numerous spots are suitable for both windsurfing and wingsurfing, and SUPs can also be seen on many beaches. In the SUP section, however, we also show many exciting tours on rivers and lakes that can be explored with a paddle alone.

The fact that windsurfing, wingfoiling and SUP have many fans in common is also clear from the latest survey of surf readers: around 20% of surf readers are already wingfoilers, and more than 40% would like to give it a try. At the same time, 75% of surf readers stated that they often or at least occasionally get on a SUP.

How do you like this article?

Our revised surf website accommodates these many similarities. Anyone who is already a multi-track traveller will now find all topics under one roof. If you have been focussing on one sport up to now, looking beyond the end of your nose might make you want to try out wings, for example.

We're still tinkering a bit in some places at the moment, so it's possible that it might not fit perfectly here and there. But we're working on it!
