From free taster courses for beginners to top-class sporting events, there is plenty to discover during the festival. Every day from 10:00 to 18:00, visitors can take part in free taster courses, enjoy SUP yoga sessions or get to know the latest trends in stand-up paddling. A special highlight are the wing foil competitions as part of the German Wing Foil Tour, where participants can put their skills to the test.
Those looking for new SUP or wing foiling equipment will also be catered for. The hottest brands present their products directly on the beach and offer free testing opportunities.
In addition to the water sports activities, the festival also offers a varied supporting programme on land. The specialist magazine Explorer presents workshops and open-air cinema evenings on the subject of camping off the beaten track. There will also be parties on Friday and Saturday evening to round off the day in style. Various food trucks with a diverse selection of dishes will cater for your physical well-being.
Visitors can also experience top-class stand-up paddling sport over the three days of the festival. The German Open Ocean Championships in the Technical Beach Race and Long Distance disciplines will be held on Fehmarn for the eighth time in a row. New to the programme is the Sprint format, which is all about speed and agility.
For anyone interested in wing foiling, the festival offers the opportunity to experience the sport up close. With a wing in their hands and a board under their feet, participants can glide over the water and perform spectacular tricks. Even without wind, it is possible to take off, as the pump and sup foilers will prove.
The festival not only offers spectators a great experience, but also invites you to get active yourself. From SUP to wing taster courses, there is something for everyone. The programme also includes workshops on balance board training and tips on expanding your camper van and motorhome.
Those looking to relax after an action-packed day can take part in the daily yoga sessions. Depending on the weather, these take place either on the SUP or on the beach. There is also a varied programme for the youngest visitors, where they can get to know the SUP sport in a playful way.
There are numerous stands with SUP and wing foil accessories as well as beach goodies such as sunglasses and sun cream on the festival meadow. Visitors can also try out products from long-standing partner Doppelherz Aktiv and keep fit for the many hands-on activities.
Camping is not only an absolute trend on the water, but also on land. The trade magazine Explorer will be presenting various vehicle concepts from pick-ups to lorries on the festival site. Workshops on overlanding and open-air film evenings offer inspiration for your next camping trip.
