Hardboards, bed and burgers? At the new SUPCENTER-Rangsdorf location, you can hire equipment from beginner SUPs to carbon raceboards and, of course, SUP lessons. Plus catering from snacks to complete event organisation and even accommodation for multi-day stays. In short: the complete SUP package from a single source.

It takes just over an hour by train (or by car) to reach Mellensee to the south from Berlin Central Station. On the otherwise uninhabited eastern shore lies the 2023 newly opened Mellensee lido in a small forest aisle is a good starting point for relaxed tours on the lake, which is around 800 metres wide and around two kilometres long. The SUPCENTER-Rangsdorf has recently been set up there, with hire, training and catering. Hire prices start at 15 euros per hour for an all-round SUP and from 25 euros per hour you even have the opportunity to get on a real carbon race SUP.

SUP party with live music at the end of the season

At the end of the main season, there will be a "Family Sunday Chill" with live music and a bouncy castle for children on 24 September 2024 from 12.00 noon.

Stephan Gölnitz comes from Bochum and had Holland as his home windsurfing territory for many years before moving to Munich in 1996 for the job of test editor at surf magazine. The materials engineering graduate worked as a surf instructor on the Ijsselmeer during his studies and competed for several seasons for the Essen sailing team in the Surfbundesliga and the Funboard Cup. He completed a traineeship at surf-Magazin in the test department and since then has actively accompanied almost all tests on the boom and for more than 10 years also as a photographer. Stephan has covered many thousands of test kilometers, mainly on Lake Garda and in Langebaan, but also in Egypt and Tobago. He gets his hands on over 100 new sails and boards every year as his company car. Privately, he prefers to surf with a foil on Lake Walchensee or “unfortunately far too rarely” in the waves. SUP is Stephan's second passion, which he pursued for several years at numerous SUP races. Today, he prefers to paddle on river tours with family or friends - even for several days.
