For many water sports fans, the Surf Festival on Fehmarn is a must. The focus is on testing the latest windsurfing equipment, but almost all of the manufacturers represented also have the latest SUP equipment available to try out. There will also be four days of festival atmosphere with a beach camp and, of course, lots of music and parties.
The SUP Alps Trophy is starting with six events for the annual ranking. Here you can compete with national SUP stars in various flat water disciplines.
As in boxing, two associations vie for international supremacy: the International Canoe Federation ICF also organises world championships and European championships for SUP, for example, and also publishes the dates of national championships. The 2024 World Championships will take place in Florida, while the European Championships are more easily accessible in Hungary.
The ISAfounded as an association of surfers, also organises SUP World Championships, such as the 2024 SUP World Championships in Copenhagen.
