Operator Bernd Fankhauser and his station manager Thomas Falkner are now joining the SUP Alps Trophy for the first time in 2020 with a two-day event, which is also part of the ASF Tour.
On Saturday, 8 August, the races organised by the Austrian SUP Federation (ASF) in both the Sprint and Technical Race disciplines and an "Open Day" will kick off the event. Free tests from the exhibiting SUP brands Fanatic, JP-Australia and Starboard, guided SUP tours, including in the nearby Plansee lake, SUP yoga, speed courses - a packed programme as a warm-up for Sunday, 9 August, when the Fanatic Kids Cup, Short Distance including Starboard Junior Trophy and the long distance race of the Race Class are scheduled.
Due to the hygiene regulations, there are a few things to consider at this event:
Car parks: Parking is only permitted in the paid parking spaces allocated by the car park attendants.
The relevant social distancing rules must be observed on the event site (face masks are not mandatory)
The registration of participants and the issuing of race numbers will take place in a designated race office with a separate entrance; the distancing rules must also be observed here.
