Secure your tickets now: Pre-sales for the beach camp at the 2024 Surf Festival have begun. There will be three separate areas for families and big campers.

You can now secure tickets for the beach camp at the 2024 Surf Festival. As always, the date is over the long Ascension weekend, which next year is from 9 to 12 May. For the first time, there will be three different sectors: Beachcamp classic, Beachcamp max and Beachcamp Family.

  • The Beachcamp classic is the usual sector, i.e. for vehicles up to max. 6 metres.
  • The Beachcamp max was newly created at your request and is suitable for vehicles between 6-9 metres.
  • The Beachcamp Family sector is also new at your request and suitable for vehicles up to 6 metres. There will also be an earlier night-time rest period than in the other sectors, which will be enforced by our stewards on site.

The organisers also announced some (infra-)structural changes, such as more toilet trolleys.

Tickets for the beach camp at the 2024 Surf Festival cost 99 euros for classic and family, 155 euros for the max camp. This includes one person, each additional person has to pay 37 euros. The price includes an event shirt from HiFly, rudimentary power supply, free entry to the parties and free showers

Europe's largest outdoor windsurfing trade fair

Next year, the surf festival will run as usual on the long Ascension Day weekend, from 9 to 12 May 2024. As always, all the well-known brands from the surfing world will be there and will be bringing along the latest 2024 equipment for testing. There will also be plenty of wingfoil equipment and SUPs. There will be parties, surf films, talks and workshops all about windsurfing.

Germany's best freestylers will also be back at the start and competing in the German Freestyle Battle - hopefully with wind, but also as a tow-in contest if it's calm. The "Racer of the Sea" regatta for everyone is also on the programme. Anyone can take part and gain their first experience of racing around the buoys!

Tobi is our digital man, he looks after the surf website and social media channels and gets on everyone's nerves every morning by asking for more pictures and videos. His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
