Testing & contest: Boot Düsseldorf supports Pumpfoil Festival 2025 at Gut Wittmoldt near Plön

The Pumpfoil Festival will take place at a spectacular new location in 2025. For the first time, the event will take place at Gut Wittmoldt near Plön, where water sports enthusiasts can expect a breathtaking backdrop with its own water access, private jetty and extensive gardens. Organised by 1001grad Events, the festival promises to be a highlight for pumping enthusiasts of all skill levels. Particularly attractive: admission is free for all visitors!
At the centre of the festival is the Pumpfoil Competition, where participants of all abilities can put their skills to the test. The organisers emphasise that the focus is on fun and expressly invite beginners to take part. boot Düsseldorf, which is also active at the surf festival with the Pumpfoil Challenge, is honouring its commitment to the sport of pump foiling with two wild cards for the tour stop of the SFT Surf Foil World Tour as part of boot Düsseldorf 2026, which will take place from 17 to 18 January 2026. "We are delighted to have gained boot Düsseldorf as a partner for the Pumpfoil Festival on 20 July 2025 in addition to the Racer and Winger of the Sea events, where they provide significant support for young people. This will allow us to promote the sport of pumpfoiling even more and work hand in hand," say the two event organisers Leon Delle and Oliver Tom Schliemann enthusiastically.
Try out pump foils and test equipment
Free trials are available for anyone who would like to try out pump foiling for the first time. Experienced pump spoilers will be on hand to show interested parties the basics and give valuable tips. The latest pump-oiling equipment can also be tested. There will also be a BBQ with hot food and cool drinks.
