Almost everyone knows GunSails, and now the direct mail order company from Saarbrücken is looking to strengthen its team. In addition to windsurfing, the family-run company's portfolio also includes SUP, wingfoiling and surfing.
Two positions are available at GunSails. What tasks are involved in the positions and what requirements applicants should fulfil according to the company:
Purchase Manager (m/f/d)
What you can expect:
- Independent handling of company-wide purchasing processes
- Analysing sales figures and preparing purchasing forecasts
- Triggering orders in a global supply chain
- Price and warranty negotiations with manufacturers
- Handling the ordering process and monitoring deadlines and delivery dates - Quality management and incoming goods inspection
- Coordination of delivery and storage with the warehouse and logistics department
You bring with you:
- Successfully completed commercial training, preferably in wholesale and foreign trade or a degree in economics
- Negotiating skills and good with numbers
- Hands-on mentality, ability to work in a team and communication skills
- Structured and systematic way of working
- Very good knowledge of German and English, knowledge of French an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and experience with digital tools (ERP)
- Optional: Experience with warehouse management and goods flows
- Interest in water sports such as windsurfing, wingsurfing SUP or surfing is an advantage
Employee (m/f/d) Customer Service
Field of activity:
- End customer support and sales by phone and e-mail
- Order acceptance and advice by e-mail, telephone and chat
- Advice and information on the product range, delivery dates and availability
- Creation of invoices and credit notes in the merchandise management system
- Processing and documentation of complaints and transport damage
- Support and cooperation with the warehouse and logistics department, depending on the seasonal order volume
- Support in the preparation and realisation of trade fairs and events
You bring with you:
- Completed vocational training in the wholesale or retail sector or comparable training/studies
- Good knowledge of MS Office and merchandise management systems (ERP)
- Very good written and spoken German and English, knowledge of French an advantage
- High level of personal responsibility, independent, structured and results-orientated way of working as well as flexibility
- Customer orientation, communicative competence
- Ability to work in a team
- Interest in water sports or our sports such as windsurfing, wingsurfing, SUP or surfing is an advantage
