General information on electric SUP pumps
A distinction is made between electric SUP pumps with and without a battery. The battery makes a significant difference in terms of weight and price. Models without a battery are usually supplied with power via the car's cigarette lighter.

There are also models with compressor only and models with fan and compressor in one housing.
For models with compressor and blower the board is first filled with air very quickly using a high air flow (about one minute) and then the device switches to the compressor for high pressure.
Appliances without fan function require significantly longer in the first phase for unpressurised filling.
All electric pumps sometimes cause considerable noise. You can reduce unnecessary nuisance by inflating at the car park, possibly even with the pump in the car with the door ajar. At some beach access points, use is already expressly prohibited.
Test results of the Indiana SUP pump:
The Indiana pump is well stored in a padded bag, which also has space for the charger and pressure hose. The pump has a blower unit and a compressor and is designed to generate pressure up to 16 psi, which is usually more than sufficient. The integrated lithium battery provides the necessary power and also supplies the two built-in USB ports and a bright LED torch if required. The pressure hose is sufficiently long at 110 cm and everything can be easily stowed in the bag.
The pump starts with the blower, which does its work very quickly and fills the board completely after one minute, after which the pump switches to compressor mode. The pressure can be selected in advance, after just 9:15 minutes the pump has reached the set 15 psi and switches off automatically.
The volume of the pump is slightly lower than average in both stages and the compressor hums at an acceptable frequency.
We were easily able to inflate the standard 12'6" x 30* pump test board three times on one battery charge.
Conclusion: Fast pump, even for increased pressure up to 16 psi, which gets going quickly right from the start (the board is filled with the blower in just over a minute) and the set 15 psi is reached in a very good 9:25 minutes. The noise level - for electric pumps - is below average at both levels.
