Two new wetsuit lines are coming with the spring/summer collection from ION: the Static series for beginners and the Capture Amp for juniors. The Static wetsuits are in front zip, Back Zip and shorty versions are available and are intended to offer a simple but effective design for occasional water sports enthusiasts. According to ION, soft, flexible and durable materials ensure comfort and performance. The Static Neos are available for men and women in 3/2 and 2/2 sizes.
The Capture Amp line for children and teenagers focuses on ultimate stretchability without compromising on thermal insulation. "The high-performance Max_Flex outer material allows maximum freedom of movement," promises the manufacturer. The Capture Amp wetsuits are available as 6/5 hooded as well as 5/4 and 4/3 versions in four sizes >> z. e.g. available here.
ION is presenting two new developments in the harness sector: The Muse is a soft harness with a slim design for kitesurfers and windsurfers. It is designed to combine lightness with robustness for optimum control. Specially designed for women, the Jewel Curv was developed. "Thanks to 3D Fit Technology, the new Spectre Bar 2 Spreader and the Ergo Pad, it sets new standards in terms of support, comfort and control. The stiff construction ensures greater responsiveness when windsurfing," reads the description.
With the new trapeze models, the Spectre Bar 2. "After over 2000 hours of testing and the involvement of more than 50 test riders, it has been developed as the new standard for ION harnesses. The aluminium hook, softer padding, integrated flaps and a carbon-reinforced base plate make it our best hook plate yet," says ION. Prices and availability of the new products have not yet been communicated. However, the collection is set to go on sale in time for the 2025 spring/summer season.
