GunSails is expanding its range of accessories with three new protective products. The GUST water sports helmet is designed for wingfoilers, windsurfers, kitesurfers and wakeboarders. Weighing 480 grams in size L, including ear protectors, the helmet remains lightweight even during longer sessions. According to the manufacturer, the ABS outer shell combines protection with comfort. The 360° Fit System with micro-adjustment allows for precise adjustment to the shape of the head. Removable ear pads, a padded chin strap with a quick-release fastener and several ventilation openings are all included. The helmet is certified to the European standard CE EN 1385 and is available in sizes S to XL. The price is 42.90 euros.
New impact protection vests: Impact Flex for the hip harness, Impact Plus with enhanced protection
At the same time, GunSails is launching two new impact protection vests designed to meet different requirements. The Impact Flex is designed for use with a hip harness. It features a side zip. This design keeps the front of the vest smooth and reduces potential pressure points under the harness, explains the manufacturer. Stretchy neoprene and a close-fitting design allow for natural movement. Segmented shock pads absorb energy in the event of a fall and provide additional buoyancy. As well as impact protection, the Impact Flex offers light thermal insulation. It is priced at 87.90 euros.
The Impact Plus takes a different approach. Its shock pads extend right down to the bottom edge of the vest, thereby providing a significantly larger area of protection across the entire upper body. According to the manufacturer, this makes it a versatile choice for windsurfing, wing foiling, wakeboarding, sailing and other water sports. Segmented protective elements ensure freedom of movement, whilst the front zip makes it easy to put on. As well as impact protection, the vest offers additional buoyancy and light thermal insulation. It is priced at 89.90 euros. The well-known Impact Pro model remains part of the range.
