A good 3.70 metres long, with a nice upturned nose - that's the recipe for a good "glide" when paddling and light windsurfing. The Freerider also goes over choppy water well and is very fast and direct when paddling and windsurfing, the fixed construction is superior to the iWindSUPs, subjectively our testers found it slightly faster than the inflatable 12'6'' from Starboard. The board is not quite as stable in the water, which is perhaps why it is even more fun. The planing position when windsurfing is quite flat even with a lot of pull in the sail, the board has little rocker and surfs very well trimmed out on long strokes.
