The board pleases with its discreet, elegant design, the underwater hull runs from the almost flat planing surface into a pointed displacement bow. At 83 kilos, the thin board is still very clean in the water and tracks true to its line. With a width of only 27.5 inches, you automatically no longer stand in a wide-legged woodchipper stance, the stable board makes it easier to stand in a slightly narrower position. The slim hull cuts smoothly through the water, and if you tilt sideways you will soon reach a "stopping point" at which the board hardly tips any further. With an iSUP, you would probably have to go for at least a 29er width to achieve a similar level of stability.
Typically for a hardboard, the hull "glides" a little more smoothly with every paddle stroke than on an iSUP, the average speed is slightly higher, even if the speed measurement does not make the significant difference, but above all the particularly loose, smoother ride.
You might be able to buy a stylish birchwood cabinet for €1995 - but it's doubtful that you'll have anywhere near as much fun with it. The board weighs 12 kilos. The Lite Venture set includes a board bag for only half the price.
