"The longer you like a board, the longer you will use it" is also the LiteVenture motto. And this is achieved through a timeless design and high-quality construction. The underside is laminated with carbon throughout, Kevlar reinforcements protect the nose and rails and the reinforced base is designed to remain stable for a long time. All of this is well concealed under a discreet, elegant design on this elegant sports tourer.
The underwater hull runs from the almost flat planing surface into a pointed displacement bow. At 83 kilos, the thin board still sits very cleanly in the water and tracks true, but we would advise much heavier riders to use the 12'6" x 30" or 14' x 27.5" boards that are also available. With a width of only 27.5 inches, you are automatically no longer standing in a wide-legged woodchipper stance, and the stable board makes this slightly narrower stance easier. The slim hull cuts smoothly through the water, and if you tilt sideways you will soon reach a "stopping point" where the board hardly rolls any further, which is probably due to the thinner board, which also gives you a good surfboard feeling. With an iSUP, you would probably have to go for at least a 29er width to achieve similar stability.
Typically for a hardboard, the hull "glides" a little more smoothly with every paddle stroke than on an iSUP, the average speed is slightly higher, even if the speed measurement does not make the significant difference, but above all the particularly loose, smoother ride. During turns, the board feels very direct, but the further back you venture, the more challenging it is on the narrow tail. The board weighs a fairly light 12.5 kilos for a hardboard, which you won't feel at all on the water. In the set offer (board plus bag), a really cool board bag costs only half the normal price at LiteVenture. Other colours are available.
A high-quality, sporty touring board with a special visual and technical touch.
