Ride report 2016: RRD Airrace
The Airrace 14'0'' (width 26'') is an extremely sharp arrow in the RRD quiver. The pointed nose alone makes the board feel three kilometres per hour faster than a leisurely Touring 12'6''.

As a first board, however, the really very tippy RRD is as unsuitable as a 400 hp car for a novice driver, but as a second board, the slim, stiff racer is likely to get your heart racing at a sporty pace, especially on mirror-smooth cream days. Not from exertion - the iSUP board (1349 euros) goes through the water with minimal resistance and is also good against light waves - but because it simply makes you want more and more like a drug: more paddle strokes, longer distances, or even a race in the inflatable classification? But then you have one less excuse for a bad result.
