Type: Inflatable, with centreboard option
It doesn't get more elaborate than the "Deluxe" from Starboard. When inflating, a complete centreboard box system (bulky, to be stowed separately) is clamped in the hull, which is convincing in operation. The board is much more stable, but also a little more sluggish than the inflatable 12'6'' from Starboard, but the centreboard is unbeatable when going upwind. When paddling, the large centreboard box or the corresponding "hole" slow you down noticeably, whereas the 12'6'' without a brake flap zips away again with ease.
Advantages:All-round windsup; full-fledged centreboard in the iSUP
