The length is immediately noticeable on the water - but not in a negative way. You are stable and can easily catch the rolling waves.

To turn radically, however, the Mistral requires more pressure at the rear, which is when many a surprise move works.

Conclusion Convinces as a fun machine in small surf. When the waves get steeper, it lacks a little liveliness. An absolute recommendation also as a children's touring board.
