With a volume of over 400 litres and a width of 36 inches, payload is not an issue, and the board's solid construction also makes it look particularly rigid. Because it floats quite high up in the water with so much contact surface, it is surprisingly easy to propel at a moderate touring speed of up to around five km/h. The speed cannot be increased significantly until the paddle pressure is solid, and at a good seven km/h, even sporty efforts come to an end. If you want to cover long distances as quickly as possible, you won't be happy.
On the other hand, the board is extremely stable in the water, which means that even rough conditions can be mastered safely, and even in the river nothing will throw you off the board so quickly. The four glued-on, short fins are enough to keep you on track in flowing water and don't touch down too quickly in shallow passages. An additional, longer, fifth fin ensures almost stoic directional stability on the lake. The board also remains unimpressed when manoeuvring in the water - even if you go far to the stern. The bow then lifts, the board remains stable on the wide stern and it can be turned very tightly in a playful yet safe manner.
The 3DS construction is JP-Australia's highest quality construction with welded seams on the edges and particularly solid use of materials, which, together with the numerous features, also increases the weight. These include the numerous handles and the mast holder for windsurfing. Special mounting brackets (Scotty mounts) at the rear should be familiar to all fishing enthusiasts, but there are numerous accessories with which the AdventurAir can be upgraded for fishing. The wheeled rucksack is spacious and sturdy.
A very (tilt-)stable base for SUP adventurers who prioritise safety and transport capacity over maximum long daily stages at the highest possible average speed. Equally suitable for heavy paddlers, for families and even for windsurfing beginners (a large centre fin is included).
Maximum tilt stability, load-bearing capacity and robustness. Windsurfing option.
