Tilt-resistant and particularly versatile: the Naish Crossover is a family coach, a stable tourer, a windsurfing board for beginners - it can simply do everything.

If a board like the JP Adventur Air seems a little too heavy and chunky and a sport tourer with a width of 30 inches or less is too wobbly, the Naish Crossover might be the perfect paddle partner for you. Despite its 34-inch width, it doesn't feel sluggish, even if it can't keep up with a GTS RS tested at the same time in a paddle duel. However, the difference in speed remains manageable - at least with normal commitment.

What the Naish brings to the table in terms of additional load capacity and stability, it doesn't even come close to losing in the speed rating. The bow runs very flat over the water with little resistance, the water tears off cleanly at the sharp rear edge. With little effort, you can achieve a decent touring speed of five and a half km/h. Only in sport mode and of course the top speed that can be achieved ends noticeably earlier than with the narrow sport tourers. On the other hand, you can also take the dog, a six-pack of beer, a change of clothes and a barbecue with you on the crossover. We've tried it out. That doesn't upset the board. You can also choose to take a child on the board, and the Crossover is also suitable as a family bathing island.

In addition to the existing mast mount and the additional fin box, the slightly more generous width is also a good prerequisite for the crossover - hence the original name - as a windsurfing or wingfoil base. The twelve feet are probably a little long for very small children, but with a 3.5 or 4.5 metre sail the board will certainly perform well. With handles all round, the board is also ideally equipped for longer tours with carrying passages. The Naish board is very easy to paddle, particularly stable and turns easily and safely in both crossbow turns and pivot turns. The finish is solid and clean, the edges are double laminated.

Conclusion on the Naish Crossover 12'0" x 34" Fusion:

The lavish equipment and successful dimensions make the Crossover one of the most versatile boards - from a family coach to a stable tourer to a windsurfing board for beginners. With plenty of safety, load capacity and very decent paddle performance.
