So that you know straight away what to expect at Bohemian SUPsidy, tour guide Nele will take you on a on their website on their SUP tours in Hamburg.
Nobody knows the Hidden Waters of New Jork SUP Tour through the Alte Land.
"You have a board, want to paddle, but no company? Then you've come to the right place. Sometimes it's like that in life. You've finally found something you enjoy... and nobody wants to go with you. But going alone is also stupid. And you don't want to travel that far either. Oh, maybe I'll put the SUP back in the cellar after all. Don't do it! Come here instead. We'll go together! You don't even have to go to SPO or Scharbeutz. It's nice there. E veryone knows that, of course. The "Hidden Waters of New Jork" SUP tour through the Alte Land is unknown to anyone. And on the "SUP seeing the city Buxtehude Tour" I might bump my head from time to time, but never on anyone."
If you start in Buxtehude, you can choose between two tours. The special feature: both tours are on the Este, whereby the Este is a heath river (tide-INdependent) and a tidal river (tide-DEPENDENT).
The SUPseeing the City Tour takes us through Buxtehude. The Este is a heathland river here. We paddle upstream on the Viver (as the Este is called here) through Buxtehude's town centre to the mill pond and back again.
Much more challenging and varied is the Hidden Waters of New Jork Tour. Here, the Este is a tidal river and is characterised by the tides of the Elbe. The tour takes you through the Alte Land - Northern Europe's largest fruit-growing region. Paddling is only possible at high tide with draining water.

Guided tours are generally still possible until 31.10.2024. At weekends or by arrangement during the week. Due to the tides, the Hidden Waters of New Jork is only possible on four weekends (if you want to paddle with a guide at the weekend).
