All courses take place in small individual groups (max. 10 people). We use the latest SUP equipment that meets the most modern training standards. This supports an easy and safe introduction to the sport. The combination of professional coaching and "learning by doing" guarantees a quick sense of achievement. All courses include instruction on land and a SUP instructor during the entire course. Board, paddle, wetsuit and buoyancy waistcoat are provided by the SUP Department. (Course duration 2 hours)
Training is provided at four different locations in the Frankfurt area:
1st Natorampe (near Rumpenheimer ferry). About 15 minutes by car from Frankfurt city centre
2nd Frankfurt City Round (Borussia rowing clubs near Gerbermühle). About 10 minutes by car from Frankfurt city centre
3rd Mainstrand Rüsselsheim. Approx. 40 minutes by car from Frankfurt city centre
4. Seligenstadt/Mainflingen
SUP yoga is a further enhancement. Here, various yoga poses and breathing techniques are performed standing, lying or sitting on the SUP board. This primarily activates the muscles in the centre of the body (pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles), but also strengthens the muscles close to the joints in the legs and arms. Yoga exercises that can be performed with ease on a normal yoga mat are a completely new experience on the SUP board.
