The new VanBike rear carrier for panel vans makes it easy to transport bikes and surfboards. Free access to the rear doors is always guaranteed.

The manufacturer BlüTech presents the VanBike model, which is designed to enable the transport of bicycles and now also water sports equipment. The system is characterised by a particularly low loading height, which makes it easier to load heavy e-bikes in particular. An additional module for transporting surfboards is now also available as a new feature.

VanBike - versatile use for water sports enthusiasts

Especially water sports enthusiasts with panel vans and high roofs, such as the Fiat Ducato, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, VW Crafter or Ford Transit, should benefit from the extension. Instead of increasing the overall height of the vehicle with luggage racks and stacked boards, loading at the tail can make more sense, as the equipment travels in the slipstream, does not increase fuel consumption and is also easier to reach. Solar cells or roof hatches on the roof are also not installed in this case. According to the manufacturer, the new VanBike surfboard carrier offers the option of transporting windsurf boards, surfboards, wingfoil boards and kiteboards upright at the tail - even in combination with up to two bicycles.

Made from black powder-coated aluminium, the surfboard carrier (from €475) is bolted to the VanBike base carrier. The entire carrier can then be loaded with a weight of up to 80 kilos. For particularly wide boards, additional in the manufacturer's webshop can be ordered. The good thing: access to the rear doors of the vehicle remains free at all times!
