With a width of only 28 inches, the JP is quite drag-free in the medium speed range, and the visibly raised nose tip overcomes smaller chop without you having to go back on the board.

For its sporty, stretched, slim outline, the board is surprisingly stable, especially in turns. On the comparatively wide tail, you can easily go far back, the board then turns very quickly and safely, at least in comparison to similarly dimensioned boards such as GTS, but of course much more wobbly than a Fanatic or Croslake. In terms of weight, the JP board is also one of the very lightest, which not only means fewer long arms when carrying it, but also gives a very rapid acceleration feeling during short sprints without luggage. The average speed is very good. It doesn't feel quite as stiff as the heavy transporters in the group.

PLUS Turns very well, looks extremely light-footed and fast, very sporty riding feel. Front valve: good for rollingMINUS A little soft for heavy paddlers (over 90 kilos)

ConclusionThe board is more of an athlete than a tourer. The board is also available in a wider version for trips with luggage. The training machine for athletes.
