Tutorial - how to jibe on the foil!
The foil jibe is very different from a power jibe on a windsurfing board. In this riding technique tutorial, you'll find out what you should pay attention to in order to learn the manoeuvre quickly and easily and which mistakes to avoid.

Jibing on a foil is done completely differently to windsurfing with a fin. There are two different techniques, which differ mainly in terms of the material used to surf the foil jibe. With small sails and loops mounted far inboard, the foot change often only takes place at the very end, after the sail has been shifted. On the other hand, those who foil with large freeride or even camber sails often change their feet before the sail is shifted.

In the following video tutorial, we show you all the key points of the foil jibe and also go into typical mistakes when learning this manoeuvre.

In the Youtube channel from surf you will find many more tutorials on material, tuning & manoeuvres. Take a look!
