Wearing surfing gear – you can even wear it on your head
There are various ways to carry your surfing gear without straining yourself and to store it safely. In this video tutorial, we’ll show you what to look out for.

Carrying windsurfing equipment can sometimes be a bit of a struggle. Especially with large boards and sails, getting down to the water isn’t always a walk in the park. That said, there are various methods, each with its own set of pros and cons.

The simplest method is, of course, to carry the board and sail separately. But even then, there are a few things you should bear in mind so as not to make life unnecessarily difficult for yourself and to prevent your board or sail from flying off on the beach and posing a safety hazard.

There are also different ways of carrying the board and sail together – for example, the Worn in front of the body or the head-carrying technique. In this detailed video tutorial, we’ll show you what matters most with all these methods, how to store your equipment safely on the beach, and which common mistakes you should avoid.
