The German Sailing Association (DSV) is organising the "iQFOiL Cup - Season Opener" in Schilksee from 19 to 21 April in close cooperation with Surf Club Kiel e.V. This is the first national ranking regatta in the iQFOiL (+U23), iQFOiL Youth 19, iQFOiL Junior U17 and Formula Foil classes.
The event is particularly important for the iQFOiL Youth U19 class. It serves as one of two qualifying competitions for participation in the World Sailing Youth World Championships on Lake Garda in July, where, similar to the Olympic Games, only one man and one woman per nation can qualify. However, this regatta is also a great opportunity for all other starters to kick off the national competition season.
Registration is already open, and anyone who registers by 30.03.24 can benefit from the discounted entry fee (€30 for young people, €50 for adults).
