The area between Rotterdam and Utrecht is ideal for tandem regattas
On 5 July, the Dutch Division III national championship for tandems will take place on the Reeuwijkse Plassen. The sailing area between Utrecht and Rotterdam offers a clubhouse with catering facilities and ample parking. A training day on 4 July precedes the races.

The Dutch tandem class will be holding its Division III national championship on the Reeuwijkse Plassen on 5 July. The sailing area is centrally located between Utrecht and Rotterdam near Gouda. The event marks a highlight for the small but active Dutch tandem scene. The organising club has a clubhouse with catering facilities and ample parking. The race organisation has proven itself at previous regattas on this sailing area. A large tandem regatta was already held at this location years ago. The two-day format allows participants to prepare intensively before the decisive races on Sunday.

Saturday, 4 July, is available as a training day. Participants can familiarise themselves with the local conditions and adapt their equipment to the sailing area. The championship races will take place on Sunday, 5 July. The exact time slot and the number of planned races will be announced by the organisers. The Reeuwijkse Plassen offers predictable conditions for fair races.

Tandem crews wishing to take part in the event can contact us for further information via tandemsurfing.com register. Details on registration modalities, entry fees and organisational questions will be provided on request.
