Surf + Snow Centre Augsburg
In May 2023, the Surf + Snow Centre Augsburg celebrates its 40th anniversary. It was opened by Manfred (Manni) Leupold. In 1989, the range was expanded to include snowboarding. In 1998, the shop moved to new premises not far from the banks of the Wertach. In 2004, son Florian joined the family business and expanded it to include an online shop. The sales area was doubled in 2006, stand-up paddling was added in 2010 and foiling in 2018. At the end of 2019, Manni Leupold retired at the age of 72 and Florian took over the business. Even though he is retired, Manni can still be seen regularly in the surf shop and at the surf school on Lake Mandicho, where he helps out with his love of surfing as often as he can.
In May 2023, the surf shop will be celebrating a 31-day anniversary month with lots of offers and events.

Surfshop Laupheim
The Surfshop Laupheim may not be celebrating an anniversary, but it still has something to celebrate. On 6 May 2023 at 9 a.m., the new 600 square metre shop will open. The new address is Neue Welt 21, 88471 Laupheim - the address seems to say it all. The opening programme has not yet been finalised, but something is sure to come. Until then, there will be a clearance sale with lots of bargains in the old shop until the end of April
