boot Düsseldorf is starting its 56th edition. Yesterday afternoon, the new look of the trade fair, which will take place from 18-26 January 2025, celebrated its premiere in front of the water sports community.

"boot 2025 is the start of the future for us. Our new campaign picks up water sports fans where they prefer to be: In, on or by the water. The new claim 'We love water' precisely reflects this connection," said Director Petros Michelidakis, presenting the new boot Düsseldorf campaign.

Surrounded by a 360-degree screen that shimmered in water colours and gave the water sports fans on site the feeling of being in the midst of their element during the presentation, some high-ranking guests had their say: German apnoea diver Anna von Boetticher, Giovanna Vitelli, President of Italian yacht manufacturer Azimut, content creators Elena and Ben, who have dedicated themselves to vanlife, surfing and an Atlantic crossing, windsurfing pro Adam Sims, superyacht captain "Captain Boomies", agency boss and patron of the arts Christian Boros, boot President Robert Marx, trade fair Managing Director Marius Berlemann and boot Director Petros Michelidakis. The programme was hosted by the well-known NDR presenter Kristin Recke.

New song "We love water" inspires fans

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the new campaign with its faces - the new boot image, including the song, delighted the audience. It presents people who are at the centre of life and love their sport. The new boot claim, "We love water", is therefore a logical conclusion from the passion of the athletes for their sport. Michelidakis: "We water sports enthusiasts, whether we are sailors, motor boaters, divers or surfers, are united by our love for our element. With 'We love water', we have found a motto that hits every water sports enthusiast right in the heart." The rousing song, naturally entitled "We love water", was an invitation to sing and dance along

Surf camp in the P1 car park

For all camping fans, especially surfers who are travelling with their van or van, we are setting up a surf camp in our Caravan Center in car park P1. The parking space there costs only € 25.00 per day," says the boot Director and adds "we have also clearly summarised everything important about boot Düsseldorf 2025 in a newly developed trade fair app so that everyone can plan their day of visit individually on their smartphone."

Relaxed opening hours in the surf hall, lots of action in the pool

The surf hall (17) will not only become even more accessible to the scene thanks to the camp, but will also become an even more sociable place thanks to soft closing times in the evening. Drinks at the beach bar, snacks and surfing on the pool - depending on the mood and the crowds, the hall can stay open until 10 pm. And if you don't have a heater in your van, no problem: the next morning, personal trainer for surfers, Sascha Lange, will warm you up again with his participatory stage programme. In addition, the action pool with Winch 2025 will be transformed into the Venue for the season opener of the Freestyle Pro Tour at Tow-In.
